Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Data & ML Platform leadership to align architecture with strategic goals.
Drive platform consistency, security, and scalable adoption across federated teams.
Apply secure-by-default design and FinOps-aware decision-making
Required Skills:
- 7+ years in data/platform engineering with strong architectural leadership
- Proven experience in federated data/ML platform design (Data Mesh or domain-oriented architectures).
- Deep hands-on expertise with Databricks (governance, workspaces, Unity Catalog).
- Strong platform mindset focus on reusability, scalability, and reducing user cognitive load.
- Experience guiding teams through architectural adoption and platform enablement.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on Terraform and AWS (IAM, S3, networking).
- Background in platform product design and developer experience.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure-by-default cloud design.
- FinOps awareness and Databricks cost optimization strategies.
- Experience in federated data governance / data mesh operating models.
