Job Details

A hardware focused company in Irvine is currently looking to bring on a Chief Technology Officer for a full time role. They don't need VP or CTO level experience, they're okay with a Manager/Director level candidate since this role will be 20% design/architecture and 80% management. This role will be 4-5x a week in office in Irvine, California. Their code base is Java, SpringBoot, Rest API, C++, AWS, Elastic Beanstalk, React and SQL. For this role, they're looking for someone who's strong with Java, SQL and reporting along with someone who's strong in design/architecture, someone who can handle business delivery requirements, develop and execute on strategy and communicate with individuals in various disciplines including C level executives, sales, finance, etc.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong Java, SQL and reporting experience
  • Any experience with C++ is a huge plus
  • Professional experience as a Software Engineering Manager or a Director of Software Engineering
  • Someone who has strong design/architecture skills
  • Someone who can handle business delivery requirements, develop and execute on strategy and communicate with individuals in various disciplines including C level executives, sales, finance, etc.
