RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Saint Louis, MO.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project:
* This position is for a Senior UX Researcher
* Depending on the project they are assigned to, a researcher will be conducting work according to where they are in their project - discovery, planning, study creation, execution, analysis, or reporting to stakeholders; Each day will have heads down work time
* The team works in 2-week sprints, so there are regular meetings within the sprint
* There is collaboration between designers, accessibility, analytics, developers, product owners throughout the process
Performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
*During the initial onboarding period (2-4 weeks), we want the individual to learn as much as they can about the team, our processes, the work, and complete their training; We will pair them with a -buddy- to help with this process
* During the first 30-60 days they will be assigned their own project(s) and be expected to complete them, with assistance from the team/manager
* After the first 60-90 days we expect they can fully execute projects on their own, with less assistance from others
First day looks like:
* On the first day, we will be having several -meet and greets- with leadership, the research team, and the broader Product Experience team; We will make sure your equipment is set up and we will get the software you need requested; You will learn more about the team, how we work, and talk about what you will be working on as you onboard
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or equivalent. 5+ years of related work experience
* Experience with user testing platform (such as UserZoom, User Testing, etc.) preferred but not required; Experience with Figma or other wireframing/prototyping applications
* Experience with facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and research sessions
* Previous job titles or background work will in this role: UX Researcher, UX Designer, and Researcher
* Proficient in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research through all phases of design
* Proficient in creation of personas, user flows, journey maps
* Ability to execute multiple methods of UX research, from heuristic evaluation, to surveys, to moderated and unmoderated usability studies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
