Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Backend Technical Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of deep expertise in Java technologies, coupled with strong architectural skills and the ability to guide teams in building enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

  • Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for development teams.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of backend applications.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, reviewing code and guiding design decisions.

  • Work closely with DevOps, QA, and front-end teams to enable smooth integration and delivery.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvements in system architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Java backend development with strong hands-on coding ability.

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect in large-scale enterprise applications.

  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Solid knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL), caching, and messaging/queueing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and system design.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

  • Exposure to front-end integration and cross-platform architecture.

  • Prior experience in financial services, telecom, or large-scale enterprise domains.
