The Global Supply Chain & Systems Engineering (GSC&SE) organization is seeking a Senior Digital & Systems Engineering Leader to join our Digital & Systems Engineering (D&SE) Functional Chief Engineer's (FCE) office in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Renton, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL; or El Segundo, CA .
In this influential role, you will be a partner with FCE Leadership and Senior Technical Fellowship (STF) members to create and implement strategies that enhance technical excellence and workforce development initiatives. This position requires a blend of creative vision and strategic execution to advance functional Technical Boards, reduce technical debt through effective use of TDRs and Design Practices, and lead workforce integration initiatives, including Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) training and fellowship pipeline development.
Additionally, as the company continues to mature our digital engineering tools, processes, training and people in support of Model Based Systems Engineering, this leader will partner with STFs to lead the integration of roadmaps, capabilities, and Digital Engineering initiatives set forth by the FCE and Business Unit Partners.

Position Responsibilities Include:
- Team Management and Development: Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of employees engaged in engineering and technical activities related to Systems Engineering and PLM across multiple locations. Foster a culture of motivation and continuous improvement.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with STFs inside and outside the function, Business Unit stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives.
- Technical Management: Provide management partnership to STFs to integrate and execute enterprise-led projects that support the advancement of Digital Engineering tools, processes, and architectures, ensuring that projects align with organizational goals
- Strategic to Tactical Transformation: Transform strategic initiatives into actionable tactical projects with clearly defined Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring that teams have clear direction and measurable outcomes.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams
- Experience performing systems engineering activities in full systems engineering lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years' experience in Systems Engineering/MBSE methods, practices, processes, and/or tools
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and developing tactical execution strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing workforce development/learning solutions
- Experience or working knowledge across multiple BCA, BDS, or BGS products, processes, and teams
- Experience in workforce management activities (talent acquisition, retention, development, training, etc.)
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative, leading cross functional teams, working across organizational boundaries, and ensuring an inclusive environment
