Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Integrated Engineering powers the F-35 enterprise by delivering cutting-edge training and logistics solutions. Our mission is to accelerate readiness, improve affordability, and embed disruptive, outcome-based technologies that keep pilots and warfighters safe and mission-ready.

THE WORK
- Lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) with L-code authority for the Operational Baseline IPT within PTD (Pilot Training Devices) Visuals and Infrastructures.
- Set and communicate a clear organizational vision, expectations, and objectives for a multi-disciplinary engineering team that includes Systems, Software, Hardware, Integration & Test, Configuration & Data Management, and Infrastructure engineers.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative management approaches to ensure engineering integrity and compliance with Command Media; collect data and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage team performance, drive corrective actions, and monitor staffing demand to maintain an adequate talent pipeline.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage risks and opportunities across the IPT.
- Champion continuous-improvement initiatives and drive the adoption of tools, practices, and automation that increase efficiency and quality (Digital Transformation).
- Design and execute personal and career development plans; partner with HR to foster a "people-first" culture and resolve personnel matters promptly.
- Cultivate an inclusive environment that values diversity, out-of-the-box thinking, and big-picture perspectives.
- Ensure cost-estimate quality and compliance; promote a fun, innovative culture that celebrates engineering excellence.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline or related discipline
-Must possess, or have ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
-Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing the critical skills of others
-Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
-Ability to Build Effective Relationships
-Experience working collaboratively with Program Management, Finance and Contracts organizations
-Experience applying the "V" Process Model to fully develop and integrate a complex system
-Understanding of DevSecOps Practices inclusive of Agile Product Development leveraging Scrum & Kanban
-Demonstrated ability and desire to automate manual, time-consuming tasks
-Thorough understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM)

Desired skills

Experience in Systems Engineering, Complex Systems Integration & Test, and Model-Based Engineering (MBE) processes, principles, and tools

-Advanced degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Management
-SAFe Training/Certification, RMS SAM Training/Certification, or other Recognized Agile Certification
-Control Account Management (CAM) experience within past 5 years
-Capture Experience including authoring proposals
-12 years or more of professional experience with 4 or more years of experience as a manager
-Active Secret Clearance - Experience working on both domestic and international firm fixed price contracts
-Experience leading cross-functional product development teams
-Experience leading a team through change
-Experience creating and implementing hiring plans
-Experience working on both domestic and international firm fixed price contracts
-Experience leading geographically dispersed / virtual teams

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
