We have a 6 month contract opportunity for a Microsoft Active Directory Engineer. This role is fully remote but must work CST business hours


Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Windows Active Directory Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Active Directory (AD) and will be responsible for the design, implementation, security, and management of a large-scale enterprise AD environment.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


- Design, implement, and manage a large-scale enterprise Active Directory environment.


- Provision and deprovision users, computers, and security groups.


- Manage Active Directory FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and AD Sites and Services Design.


- Administer Entra ID, ADFS, DNS, and PKI.


- Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), account management, and auditing.


- Develop scripts for automation and routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.


- Coordinate with application owners to reset passwords and manage service accounts.


- Analyze passwords and generate reports using PowerShell scripts.




qualifications:

- Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers 2012/2016/2019/2022.


- Advanced knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) in an enterprise environment.


- Experience with Enterprise multifactor solutions preferred.


- Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell.


Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers 2012/ 2016 / 2019 / 2022.


Experience with Active Directory provisioning and deprovisioning of users, computers, security groups.


Experience with and Knowledge of Active Directory FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and Active Directory Sites and Services Design.


Advanced knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) in an enterprise environment.


Advanced knowledge of Entra ID, ADFS, DNS, and PKI.
