Job Title: Web App Designer/Developer

Job Type: Full-time | Onsite (St. Peters, MO)



About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Web App Designer/Developer to help create compelling, scalable, and innovative web applications. The ideal candidate will have real-world experience implementing custom web applications in Microsoft .NET Core, coupled with strong design sensibilities and the ability to deliver solutions that balance functionality with visual appeal.

This position reports to the Web App Development Manager and plays a key role in bridging creative design with robust development practices.



Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate large amounts of information into persuasive and user-friendly visual experiences.

  • Apply creative, technical, and analytical skills to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Adapt quickly in diverse technical and creative environments while ensuring timely project delivery.

  • Utilize advanced design skills to support diverse marketing and business objectives.

  • Scope projects effectively, determining both design and development requirements.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.

  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Maintain a strong sense of design, ensuring visual appeal and usability.

  • Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment.

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.




Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite in St. Peters, MO.

  • 5+ years of experience as a professional full-stack web/interactive designer/developer.

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Expert knowledge of:

    • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

    • Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core

    • Microsoft Visual Studio

    • Microsoft Web API

    • Microsoft Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server (including database structures)

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Familiarity with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Experience creating mobile applications (intermediate to expert level).

  • Strong knowledge of UI and interactive design principles, usability, color theory, layout, and typography.
