Role: WMS Support
Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite)
Job description:
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes to ensure efficient operations, accurate inventory, and smooth order fulfillment, often collaborating with operations and IT teams. Experience with SQL required.
Available shifts: 1st and 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues within the WMS, including system errors, and data discrepancies.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain the integrity of WMS data, ensuring accurate inventory levels, order information, and other critical data.
- User Support: Provide technical support to warehouse personnel on WMS usage, addressing questions, and resolving issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of WMS with other systems and processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of WMS procedures, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Skills and Qualifications:
- WMS Experience: Strong understanding of warehouse management system (WMS) principles, with hands-on experience using platforms such as Softeon or Manhattan. 4 6 years of relevant experience preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to WMS and warehouse operations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve warehouse operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer usage and knowledge of relevant software and systems.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
