Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform solutions. This role will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and engineering practices for our enterprise data ecosystem, supporting both B2B and B2C domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement cloud-native and cloud-agnostic data platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, Azure, and AWS Redshift.
- Lead the design and development of reusable, scalable data products, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Apache Airflow, ADF, SnapLogic, and Matillion.
- ntegrate data from CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, PeopleSoft, SAP) and various structured/unstructured sources.
- Develop modern APIs for secure data sharing across internal and external applications.
- Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models using tools like ERwin and SQL Workbench.
- Implement data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data profiling, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business goals and analytics needs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub for automated deployment and testing.
- Apply Python for data manipulation, automation, and orchestration tasks.
- Contribute to machine learning workflows and model deployment strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and platform architecture.
- Proven expertise in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakehouses, and data governance.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Chronos) and transformation models in dbt.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analytics is essential.
- Hands-on expertise in managing complex data operations to ensure data reliability, scalability, and compliance across environments.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in data governance frameworks, with direct proficiency in Collibra or comparable platforms for data cataloging, stewardship, and policy enforcement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Precisely, Openflow, or similar metadata and governance tools.
- Familiarity with BI platforms and data visualization tools.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and conceptual/logical data modeling.
