Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with potential clients to fully understand their technical environment and business needs.
- Collaborate closely with sales engineering colleagues to share best practices and enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Liaise with engineering and product management teams to customize technology solutions that meet customer-specific requirements.
- Play an active role in shaping the sales engineering culture and future strategic direction of the organization.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends and technical advancements in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to deliver presentations and conduct technical demonstrations that clearly convey the value proposition of solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and success.
- Assist in the development and refinement of sales strategies that effectively address and meet the needs of potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, specifically within infrastructure and enterprise software environments.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes operations, networking, container ecosystems, and microservices architecture.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Strong background in promoting and evangelizing emerging technologies to a diverse range of customers.
- Experience dealing with Fortune 500 companies, particularly within the Financial Services or High-Tech sectors, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of various Cloud and Kubernetes environments or distributions such as AWS, GCE/GKE, Azure, VMware Tanzu, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with network security solutions, including WAFs and Firewalls.
- Ability to articulate complex technical details effectively through various mediums to different audience levels.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multi-functional team environment.
