Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with proven expertise in modernizing large-scale, SQL Server stored procedure driven legacy applications into modular, cloud-ready architectures.

This role demands strong architectural leadership, deep hands-on development skills, and extensive experience in cloud-native application development, primarily working with PL/SQL / T-SQL driven backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical strategy for stored procedure remediation and modernization
Assess existing stored procedures, functions, and dependencies across multiple databases
Define conversion approach
Redesign database schemas for scalability and performance
Establish coding standards, reusable patterns, and architectural best practices
Develop and optimize code for migrated components (hands-on role)
Collaborate with DevOps team on CI/CD pipeline design and branching strategy
Guide the use of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for accelerated development
Review and approve technical designs, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex technical issues
Coordinate closely with QA teams for functional, performance, and integration testing
Document architecture, design decisions, and implementation guideline

Critical Skills to Possess:

12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and cloud-native application development, primarily working with PL/SQL / T-SQL driven backend systems.
Proven track record in migrating stored procedures to modern technology stacks
Proficiency in .NET Core 8.0, C#, MVC, and microservices-based development
Strong knowledge of PLSQL / T-SQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database optimization
Experience in architecture design, modernization planning, and migration execution
Hands-on coding expertise in .NET for API, microservices, and batch job implementations
Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development
Cloud platform experience (Azure/ AWS preferred)
Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and deployment automation
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills
Leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders
Good to have:

Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps.
Experience in healthcare domain
