Job Description
ECS is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to work in our Fort Rucker, AL office.
ECS is seeking a Training Specialist to provide on-site support the Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Directorate of Simulation (DOS) at Fort Rucker, AL. The DOS supports and enables Initial Military Training and Professional Military Education training and education efforts which utilize DOS' Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVCG) simulation capabilities and infrastructure. The DOS is responsible for the administration, development, and technical integration of Models and Simulations (M&S) and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) to create the operational environment in the Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVC-G) simulation domains.
The Training Specialist will provide on-site and off-site technical support of Initial Military Training, Professional Military Education training events, and Live Virtual Constructive and Gaming training events as required by the DOS Simulation Integration Division and Mission Command Integration Division.
The Training Specialist performs actions as they relate to VBS3 computers related databases and conducts technical rehearsal for trainings to ensure smooth operations. Some of the tasks include but not limited to the following:

The Training Specialist performs actions as they relate to VBS3 computers related databases and conducts technical rehearsal for trainings to ensure smooth operations. Some of the tasks include but not limited to the following:
- Design, build, and operate VBS3 Gaming Systems to replicate current and future operations.
- Update the VBS3 database to include modifications required to support modified training objectives.
- Rebuild the VBS3 database to meet new model requirements when necessary.
- Operate the main gateway for VBS3.
- Practice flight maneuvers (Auto-hover, forward flight, turning, and landing)
- Practice CPG target acquisition (includes UAS lazed targets)
- Practice use of CNR Sim and in-game communication for upcoming training
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulation and Simulators (TADSS) and of operational testing.
- Knowledge of the development and production of live, virtual and constructive training.
- Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics and procedures, and individual, crew and collective training development and management.
- Ability to evaluate current programs with emphasis on the ability of those programs to satisfy operational user training and OPTEMPO requirements.
- Ability to evaluate fielded systems with emphasis on the cost-effective implementation of targeted technical upgrades for continued training support.
- Security Plus Certification- must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire date
- (MD-100/101 or MD-102) must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire date
