Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in Des Moines, Iowa. This long-term contract position is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in ERP systems and regulated industries. Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the ERP implementation project, ensuring it stays on schedule and within scope.
Act as the primary liaison between the client and the ERP vendor, addressing issues and escalating concerns as needed.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation to track progress and ensure accountability.
Coordinate with internal teams to meet deliverables and align with project goals.
Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders and manage expectations.
Implement quality control measures to test and validate existing systems and processes.
Manage multiple workstreams within mid-sized organizations, ensuring seamless execution.
Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Showcase previous project management experience during client and team interactions.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing ERP implementations.
Strong background in manufacturing or regulated industries.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in mid-sized organizations.
Proficiency in formal project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to create detailed business requirement documents and project plans.
Experience in quality assurance and system testing.
Proven track record of successful client implementations and cross-functional collaboration.
