Role: Senior Data Scientist
Location: New York, NY
Experience 6 - 8 Years
Technical Skills Primary
- 7 plus years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Microservices development and deployment
- NoSQL Database Cosmos
- Azure AI Search and Azure Cloud knowledge
- Adherence to Testing Best Practices Methodologies Unit End to end testing Etc
- Adherence to Application Development Documentation Best Practices
- Experience in conducting Design Code Reviews
Technical Skills Secondary
- Chat GPT AI or Open AI
- Design develop and maintain web applications using Java technologies
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design and ship new features
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Angular
- Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools CICD Docker Kubernetes
Soft Skills
- As this is an onsite role we must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Insurance Domain Knowledge
- Strong ability to work with client stakeholders
