enior Engineering Manager CRM Rebuild

Onsite Dallas, TX | $150,000 $200,000 Base Salary

We re looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead our CRM rebuild team in Dallas. You ll manage and mentor a group of full-stack engineers building scalable, customer-facing products with a modern cloud-native stack. Ideal candidates will have recent hands-on development experience (within the last 2 4 years) and 1 3 years of engineering leadership, especially at the team or senior manager level.

Legacy: Some Java (handled by a separate team)

What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end engineering efforts for our CRM rebuild initiative from architecture through delivery.
Guide full-stack engineers across web, backend, and mobile platforms with a bias for clean, scalable design.
Spend ~30% of your time writing code and contributing technically to major features.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to shape roadmaps.
Drive agile practices, code quality, peer reviews, and continuous improvement.
Build strong engineering culture rooted in accountability, mentorship, and technical excellence.
Own hiring, onboarding, and performance management for your team.

What We re Looking For

7+ years in software engineering roles with recent full-stack development experience.
1 3 years of experience managing software engineers (preferably 5 15 reports).
Strong command of modern engineering practices CI/CD, observability, testing, performance.
Comfortable leading teams building customer-facing systems (CRM, Payments, Mobile).
Technical depth in React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS-based microservices.
Familiarity with mobile development (native or React Native) is a strong plus.

Bonus Experience

Built or rebuilt a CRM or similar internal tool from scratch.
Experience with SST, serverless architectures, or AWS-native infrastructure.
Familiarity with mobile deployment (App Store, Google Play) and performance optimization.
Exposure to data privacy, compliance, or secure systems at scale.
