Job Description
You will be the Electrical Engineer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 1 program. Our team is responsible for delivering reliable, high performance missile subsystems, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that electrical designs meet rigorous DoD requirements throughout development and production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer you will provide technical leadership to supplier management teams, review and evolve electrical requirements and interface control documents, and support both laboratory testing and on site failure investigations. You will act as the primary conduit between the PrSM program and its external suppliers, driving issue resolution and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing electrical requirements, schematics, ICDs, and drawings for the Control Actuation System and related LRUs.
Conducting research, technical investigations, and root cause analyses to resolve design and performance issues.
Supporting system and subsystem level design updates, releases, and configuration control.
Performing lab testing, validation, and evaluation of electrical hardware.
Providing on site supplier support for failure investigations and ensuring LRU performance compliance.
Executing Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE) tasks and participating in Failure Review Board (FRB) activities.
Maintaining accurate documentation in Visio, Windchill, and other LM tools; generating reports for the Electrical Engineer Lead.
Collaborating with cross functional teams (systems, mechanical, software) to align electrical solutions with overall missile objectives.
Upholding security requirements by holding or obtaining a DoD Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry
Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
Desired skills
Experience working technical proposals. Candidate will need to be able to obtain MRBE status with the appropriate training/mentoring
Experience working with Inertial Measurement Units (IMU's) and GPS
Experience working failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.
Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation
Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production.
Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus
Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
