Job Details

Job Description:

  • The client Internal Communications team is looking to hire a consultant to help in our day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Intranet Management:

  • Manage, monitor, and update our internal intranet
  • Own the intranet home page and devise fresh content and strategies to drive ongoing high employee engagement
  • Monitor and track site analytics
  • Support intranet group owners in maintaining relevant content
  • Provide introductions and training to users of all different levels (including average users, content owners, news authors, group owners)
  • Respond and troubleshoot all intranet issues and requests

Writing

  • Craft monthly communications newsletter to employees, including writing engaging articles to drive newsletter readership and inform employees about the company
  • Regularly proof and edit communications
  • Support cross-functional partners in drafting internal communications

Events and Logistics

  • Manage event logistics for virtual events, including Brown Bags, AMAs, and Fireside Chats

Graphics Design

  • Craft engaging graphics for platforms including the company s intranet, emails, newsletters, and slide decks

Experience:

  • 5 - 8 years experience in communications roles.
  • Experience working with executive s Strong writer, requiring minimal editing; must have the ability to turn around internal communications drafts swiftly, and have a strong grasp of English grammar and proofreading skills
  • Highly skilled in graphics design
  • Skilled in video editing
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills Highly experienced with productivity and collaboration applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and confidentiality

Education:

  • A bachelor s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or equivalent and 4 years of industry experience in communications
