Contract to Hire / Contract to Perm

Must be local to Long Island City and willing to come onsite 2-3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thur is a flex day)

Start Date: ASAP

The SharePoint Engineer is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of the company s controlled SharePoint environments within the organization.

  • Installation and Configuration: Creating and configuring SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries, workflows.
  • User Management: Managing user access, permissions, and security settings within SharePoint sites and libraries.
  • Content Management: Overseeing the organization, categorization, and storage of content within SharePoint sites, including GxP documents, lists, and libraries.
  • Customization and Development: Customizing SharePoint sites using features such as web parts, workflows, and custom scripts to meet specific business needs.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance performing routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience as a SharePoint Engineer, & familiarity with SharePoint online (O365) and/or SharePoint Server editions.
  • A natural leader and results-driven individual: You inspire and guide resources with a clear vision, setting goals that align with organizational objectives.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate or equivalent are often preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and Data Integrity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering SharePoint environments.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, components, and features.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint development tools and techniques, such as SharePoint Designer, PowerShell scripting, Power Automate, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools such as Jump Box and Share Gate.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as Active Directory, SQL Server, and IIS.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to assess requirements, analyze problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues from various departments and disciplines.
