Description:
Location: 2 weeks a month onsite in Merrimack, NH. Onsite/in-person interview required.

Pay rate: $60-$68/hr w2

We will welcome you onto an agile track that is at the forefront of engineering in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology with a high level of focus on TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery and engineering standard methodologies. We are looking for Engineer having experience with scrum practices and roles with a versatile engineering background, it is important for this person to have a positive approach to teamwork and a drive to deliver daily.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, document, and complete manual tests for trading applications

Adhere to established software engineering procedures and standards.

Collaborate with other technical resources to:

Suggest improvements for processes, protocols, and standards.

Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools.

Understand requirements.

See opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform.

Understand and apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others.

Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation

Collaborate with project team to understand and prioritize system testing efforts

Mine and manipulate data using SQL to create test data

Define automated regression tests for future projects and for ongoing regression efforts

Document and report on identified system testing issues in standard defect tracking tool

Identify defects

Agile/Scrum methodology - assist the teams in implementing Agile methodologies

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 7 year of SDET Automation Experience

Proficient in Core Java, Spring, and RESTful services

Strong SQL skills a must

Test automation (Selenium, Serenity, Cucumber) experience

Jira and Jira Align experience required

Knowledge of brokerage trading (Equities, Short trading, Options, Fixed Income)

Strong team collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)

TSO/3270 Mainframe experience a plus

Web Services/ ReadyAPI/ Rest Assured a plus

Strong solve skills / identifying root cause.

Education Requirements:
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent job experience
