Job Overview : IT Project/ Program Manager

Location: Middle River, MD

Looking for someone who is willing to be in office 5 days a week

Daily Responsibilities

• Manage and Maintain IT Project portfolio/program.
• Take a leading role in Managing and coordinating specific IT initiatives and projects, such as Application Migration, PLM conversion, Cloud Migration Projects, Networking Projects, Etc.
• Support IT Team leads in organization activities such as budget planning or procurement.
• Gather stakeholders to assist with task acceptance criteria validation and procurement.
• Facility and participate in Scrum-based events, such as project intake, demo days, and regular project stand ups.
• Coach IT Team in adopting Agile and Lean Methodologies.
• Remove project barriers to ensure smooth flow of work for the IT Team.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve work blockages.
• Collaborate with onsite IT team leads to load work/projects into Jira.

Requirements

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Past Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Smart Sheets.
• Proven Track Record in Successfully managing and running various IT projects across a variety of IT teams/groups (infrastructure, application, cyber, networking, etc.) - Strong IT Generalist background.
• Working Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant IT project experience (PM, Scrum Master, BA).
• Self-Starter who can come in and manage projects from the group up.
• Strong collaboration and team work skills.
• Previous Experience supporting IT in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
