Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34715)

- Developing large-scale distributed services/applications, and developing distributed systems;
- Java, Python, C++ and Object-Oriented programming;
- Data structures and algorithms;
- Cloud computing and networking technologies, Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures;
- APIs and API Security;
- Databases including Oracle Database, MySQL, Postgres, Hibernate, NoSQL systems, Storage and Distributed persistence technologies;
- Working in live site management and deployments for highly scalable services; and
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning.
