Lead all aspects of developing & managing the Ford Customer Service Division EV harvesting program including alignment with remanufacturing program launches, parts revenue & pricing, core management, system solutions design, closed loop strategy (recycling & 2nd life), and new business development.

Responsibilities will also include supporting ongoing management of vehicle selection & acquisition, Vehicle logistics, harvested and refurb/reman parts storage and logistics. This will Include collaborating with Damage Vehicle Operations, American Road insurance, Vehicle remarketing, insurance providers, Ford Customer Service Division EV operations, Ford Customer Service Division core recovery, Model-E field teams, PD & Ford Customer Service Division engineering. Other responsibilities include cross functional engagement, leadership reviews, competitive benchmarking, global region support, and team development. leading cross-functional teams in the development & ongoing support of xEV harvesting Vehicle acquisition & Logistics.

What you'll do...
  • Ensure operation scales with alignment to reman cycle plan
  • Manage quality and delivery timing for all harvested components.
  • Develop and manage program metrics
  • Utilize connected vehicle data to select vehicles for harvesting to optimize part yield & ROI
  • Manage vehicle acquisitions for harvesting - internal and external sources.
    • Coordinate with Damaged Vehicle Operations, American Road Insurance to coordinate acquisition of internal damaged vehicles
    • Coordinate with External insurance companies to acquire vehicles
    • Oversee vehicle selection & acquisition from auctions
    • Mange vehicle selection criteria based on parts demand
    • Manage vehicle acquisition cost caps to balance parts availability and ROI
  • Manage Vehicle & finished goods inventory - optimize delivery time to dealers and minimize logistics costs
  • Harvesting Supplier management
  • Harvesting Program Profit and Loss
  • Establish relationships and processes with external insurance companies.
  • Manage alternate business strategies (Ford Next, 2nd Life...)
  • Develop and manager sustainability deliverables
  • Support team on special projects
  • Utilize part demand data to determine vehicle mix and selection.
  • Coordinate with Damaged Vehicle Operations, American Road Insurance to coordinate acquisition of internal damaged vehicles
  • Coordinate with External insurance companies to acquire vehicles
  • Oversee vehicle selection & acquisition from auctions
  • Mange vehicle selection criteria based on parts demand
  • Manage vehicle acquisition cost caps to balance parts availability and ROI
  • Manage vehicle and harvested component storage and logistics (End to End)
  • Manage Vehicle & finished goods inventory location to optimize delivery time to dealers and minimize logistics costs
  • Support High Voltage Battery 2nd Life programs
  • Support remanufacturing management system team with track and trace data from harvested vehicles
  • Oversee Vehicle title paperwork
  • Support team on special projects


You'll have...
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of technical vehicle systems work experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • 2 + years of project management experience.

Even better, you may have...
  • Experience in vehicle salvage/remarketing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Electric Vehicles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects and deliver superior results on a timely basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to deliver major projects.
  • Strong written & verbal skills to prepare, present, and communicate actions status and results on a regular basis.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
