Job Description:

SAP Solution Manager Documentation Repository Specialist / Admin

Location: Remote

Duration: 4.5 months plus possibility of extension

Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States.

The SAP Solution Manager Documentation Repository Specialist / Admin is responsible for the set up of the SolDoc module, documentation repository capability, within SAP Solution Manager. This role will help define requirements partnering with Solution Delivery and Technical teams as well as execute the set up of SolDoc. This involves ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of documentation for functional specifications, technical specification and configuration related information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer & Manage SAP Solution Manager Functionalities: This includes setting up and managing functionalities related to design solution documentation (using SolDoc). Help define requirements regarding, but not limited to, document types, branching strategy and process and status flows within Solution Manager. Set-up the Digital Signature set-up in SOLMAN for approval. Partner with solution delivery, Basis, and security teams.
  • System Administration/Monitoring: Support and monitor the SAP systems connected to Solution Manager during implementation phase.
  • Test Management: Conduct FUT testing activities within Solution Manager, including fixing defects and troubleshooting during both FUT and UAT test phases.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Work with IT teams, business units, and potentially external service providers to ensure the documentation set up is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
  • Documentation and training: Maintain documentation for the Solution Manager documentation repository and integration setup and processes. Partner with OCM teams to build out the training for end users on usage.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SAP Solution Manager administration, with a strong technical background in SAP systems. Understanding of SAP Charm is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP applications, components, and integration points.
  • Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle complex release cycles.
  • SAP certifications and additional ITIL certifications are a plus.
