Cloud Data & AI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Data & AI Developer in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
* Develop cloud-native applications and serverless APIs using Python, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway
* Cloud Data & AI Developer will build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform to support scalable, secure deployments
* Design and optimize ETL/ELT data workflows using SQL and Snowflake
* Integrate OpenAI APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Whisper, Embeddings) to deliver AI-powered features
* Build lightweight user interfaces or dashboards with Streamlit or React
* As a Cloud Data & AI Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and data teams to deliver high-impact solutions
* Write maintainable, testable code and contribute to automation, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full stack development with Python
* Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
* Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
* Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM)
* Exposure to OpenAI APIs or other LLM-based services
* Familiarity with front-end or visualization tools such as React or Streamlit

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
