Summary


The BI Reporting Analyst will transform raw data into actionable insights that support smarter business decisions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ensuring data integrity, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. The analyst will be responsible for connecting to various data sources, preparing and modeling data, and delivering impactful dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate trends and performance metrics.




Responsibilities




  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into BI models and reports.




  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI.




  • Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring objectives are measurable and aligned with business goals.




  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and present insights that support decision-making.




  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and manage task timelines.




  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI scripts, including DAX queries.




  • Document data models, algorithms, and relationships to ensure clarity and consistency.




  • Contribute to data warehouse development and ETL process improvements.




  • Perform SQL queries and optimize results for efficiency.




  • Enhance existing BI systems through technical adjustments and improvements.






Skills




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.




  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or data management.




  • Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and advanced Microsoft Excel.




  • Strong SQL skills; experience with scripting languages (DAX, MDX).




  • Knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and pipeline development.




  • Skilled in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).




  • Experience handling complex datasets (structured and unstructured).




  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within agile teams.




  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
