We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused, and detail-oriented Chief of Staff to support our CTO and lead a team of Technical Program Managers. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of key Engineering programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CTO, helping to translate vision into action and ensuring the Engineering organization runs smoothly and efficiently, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & CTO Support
Partner closely with the CTO to drive strategic initiatives, manage priorities, and ensure alignment across the Engineering organization, with a keen eye for detail in all strategic plans and communications.
Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation.
Facilitate decision-making by synthesizing complex technical and business information, paying close attention to nuances and details that could impact outcomes.

Program & Portfolio Management
Oversee the TPM team to ensure successful execution of Operations, People Fabric, Security, and AI across engineering, with a focus on detailed planning and execution.
Establish and maintain program governance, reporting frameworks, and KPIs, ensuring all metrics are tracked with precision and accuracy.
Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes by meticulously monitoring project details and progress.

Operational Excellence
Drive operational cadence for the CTO's office, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and OKR tracking, with a focus on detailed scheduling and follow-up.
Optimize organizational processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability, ensuring every process is thoroughly documented and analyzed for improvements.
Lead cross-functional initiatives that span engineering and business teams, ensuring detailed coordination and communication across all parties involved.

Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers that drive cross-cutting initiatives, with a focus on detailed feedback and development plans.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail in all team activities.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the technology organization, ensuring detailed strategies and actions are in place to support these values.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in engineering operations or similar roles, with a proven track record of detail-oriented project management.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams, with a focus on detailed execution and follow-through.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies, with an emphasis on detailed process management.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on detailed and clear communication.
Experience working directly with senior executives and influencing at all levels, with a focus on detailed strategic planning and execution.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

The pay range for this position is $227,600 to $327,200, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
