The Digital Applications team manages and supports consumer-facing websites and digital assets, serving as online showrooms and key information sources for customers researching product lines. The Marketing Technology (MarTech) Business Systems Analyst role acts as a liaison between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that system designs align with strategic objectives. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, business insight, and strong communication skills to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and support solution development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications in partnership with solution architects and program managers.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to design systems that meet business needs and ensure smooth integration across platforms.
- Conduct feasibility assessments to evaluate the technical viability of proposed solutions and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Participate in development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure solutions meet both technical and business expectations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system requirement specifications, design documents, architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and deployment plans.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement security measures in line with data governance policies.
Required Skills
- Experience with web analytics tools, consumer-facing websites, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong experience in business analysis, SQL, and programming languages such as Java and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with consumer applications and marketing technologies.
- Advanced analytical and logical thinking skills, with proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, charting, and databases.
- Ability to produce and maintain technical documentation such as system requirements and design specifications.
- Experience integrating marketing technologies with other software systems, databases, and APIs.
- Knowledge of software engineering, solution architecture, and implementation of scalable systems across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), data governance, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with data visualization, data modeling, or business intelligence tools.
- Ability to assess emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to business needs.
- Understanding of system integration across platforms including:
- CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
- Personalization engines (e.g., Adobe Target, Dynamic Yield)
- Customer data platforms (e.g., Segment, Tealium)
- Voice of Customer (VoC) platforms
