Scrum Master Level 1

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $60.00 USD Hourly
Description: About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and is passionate about agile delivery. You'll be a servant leader and agile coach for teams driving transformation across Security, Data, and Networking domains, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. You'll guide agile teams through Scrum and/or Kanban practices, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Responsibilities

• Lead and coach agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and release planning.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog health and delivery alignment.
• Drive team maturity through coaching, mentoring, and agile best practices.
• Remove blockers and enable teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.
• Promote a safe, collaborative environment for open communication and problem-solving.
• Coordinate across teams and participate in Scrum of Scrums to align dependencies.
• Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and delivery outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to agile SDLC processes and internal working agreements.
• Champion agile principles: transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in agile roles such as QA, development, product ownership, or agile coaching.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple agile teams and balance priorities across business, technology, and PMO.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding high-level architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAFe, LeSS, XP, Lean Startup, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud transformation initiatives and cross-domain agile delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
