Job Details

  • Lead migration of performance testing frameworks from traditional Virtual Server Infrastructure (VSI) to modern, cloud-based platforms (AWS).
  • Refactor and convert existing test scripts for Authentication, APIs, and MQs to align with cloud-based performance testing tools and environments.
  • Design and implement scalable performance testing infrastructure that supports parallel execution, dynamic provisioning, and CI/CD integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Application Development to ensure seamless framework deployment and execution.
  • Define and maintain performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs for system scalability, response time, and reliability.
  • Analyze and report performance test results, bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations across services.
  • Evaluate and integrate modern performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6, Locust) into the existing quality ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior SDETs and advocate for performance-first mindset across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in performance testing and automation engineering.
  • Strong expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or similar.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing integration into build workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of API testing, authentication flows (OAuth, JWT, etc.), and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic).
  • Background in software development and test-driven development (TDD/BDD).
  • Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and logging platforms (ELK stack, Splunk).
