Job Description:
  • The IT Analyst Associate will assist in performing data and system analysis, software development, and process improvement activities.
  • This role involves supporting IT projects from inception through implementation, ensuring technical accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with business requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in PL/SQL, Informatica, and other development tools, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as IT Analyst Associate for assigned projects and assist in performing moderately complex data and system analysis.
  • Support the creation and balancing of derived fields, process flows, and data diagrams.
  • Assist in software development tasks to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with management and project teams throughout project lifecycles to ensure user involvement and communication.
  • Analyze client and customer needs; assist in gathering requirements and developing solutions.
  • Perform unit testing of simple to moderately complex code.
  • Program and test using Informatica, PL/SQL, Progress, and other specified programming languages.
  • Document all development activities and changes for clear historical tracking.
  • Investigate issues and develop timely resolutions in coordination with technical teams.
  • Follow departmental standards and design/development guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to IT management or Team Lead on process improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure milestones are met accurately and on time.
  • Support the organization s quality program(s).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university preferred, majoring in Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • Coursework in relevant programming languages and/or business analysis preferred.
  • Education in interpreting user requirements, business applications design, and development strongly preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, C#/C++/C, Open Source, Korn Shell Script, Perl, or Progress 4GL highly preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Informatica and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX command line interface.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or similar procedural languages.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, patience, and persistence.
  • Understanding of business processes and constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
