Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Ventura County, California. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills and demonstrate a strong ability to solve complex challenges effectively.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems, including virtualization and Windows Server environments.
Configure and manage networking components such as switches, routers, VLANs, and wireless systems.
Ensure network security by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing protective measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems, networks, and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Optimize system performance through automation and proactive monitoring.
Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery processes to safeguard critical data.
Provide support for Active Directory and other enterprise-level technologies.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
Execute projects with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in networking technologies, including Cisco routers, switches, VLANs, and wireless configurations.
Expertise in Windows Server, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and virtualization technologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Familiarity with Active Directory, backup technologies, and disaster recovery strategies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of automation tools and practices to enhance system efficiency.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative solutions.
