Technical Delivery Manager
Introduction
The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery, governance, and reporting of multiple projects in the Investment Management Technology organization. This key resource will interact with business partners and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget. The initial assignment will focus on establishing a standardized and streamlined end-to-end process and data management around Fund/Product Launches for marketing and extend it to cross MSIM platform for fund lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, identify, track, and address dependencies
- Resolve constraints and resource conflicts
- Assess impacts to plan and obtain estimates to complete forecast use of funds
- Ensure adherence to SDLC and report progress against plan
- Engage with clients and multiple stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Lead and manage organizational change
- Establish, maintain, and report business outcomes using OKRs and KPIs
- Prepare project communications plan and facilitate team meetings
- Prepare change requests and obtain necessary approvals
- Escalate issues to executive steering committee members
- Prepare weekly status reports, track open issues, and update risks
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project for reporting and documentation
Requirements
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of leading business and technology transformation in global financial institutions
- Experience in Investment Management and/or Alternative Investments
- Expertise in Agile project work and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to drive successful end-to-end solution delivery
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven attention to detail in management reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Preferred Skills:
- Prior investment backing or trading background
- Hands-on expertise with data governance, data lineage, and data dictionary
- Project Management certification
