Title: Project Manager
Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Fort Lee, NJ - Fully onsite in Fort Lee with Travel to Client Sites 1-2 times a month
Transportation: Must have a vehicle as reliable transportation

Job Summary
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for project direction, implementation, planning, budgeting, and ensuring profitability. You will maintain consistent follow-through and communication with clients and team members regarding all system proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight & Execution
- Lead all aspects of project deployment, communication flow, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with clients, designers, technicians, installers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensure team alignment, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and driving project milestones to completion.
- Client Relations & Communication
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests professionally and promptly.
- Technical & Industry Expertise
- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team to evaluate and adjust CAD plans according to project changes.
- Oversee equipment, materials, and resource procurement while managing inventory and tracking expenses.
- Possess a strong understanding of audio & video systems, including lighting, theater setups, multi-room integration, automation, networking, and shade design.
- Quality Control & Documentation
- Conduct regular inspections and enforce industry standards to ensure project quality and adherence to client expectations.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, change orders, and final summaries to maintain accurate records.
- Performance & Strategy
- Establish profitability, productivity, and response time goals, generating metrics to measure performance.
- Forecast maintenance agreements post-project completion to ensure continued system upkeep.
- Collaborate with Accounting on progress billing, financial reviews, and subcontracting matters.
- Provide weekly progress updates to the Director of Operations, addressing logistical issues and product adjustments.
Requirements
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in the AudioVisual industry.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing systems and processes to enhance client services.
- High proficiency in business-related technology with an understanding of how it drives success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels.
