Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Support Analyst to join our Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Tools Team in Everett, WA. This position will contribute to the development of System Network Interface Management tools for current and future airplane products across Boeing.

The SE&I Tools team plays a crucial role in advancing Boeing's approach to managing complex aerospace designs through digital solutions. This position involves collaboration with engineering teams and software developers, leading global teams in capturing, validating, implementing, and verifying tool capabilities and requirements.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, have experience in both systems engineering and software application design, and be familiar with the design of networked airplane systems.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT and data architects to guide software development by refining use cases, requirements, and solution concepts to address operational constraints and historical experience.
  • Lead solution improvement / risk reduction activities for existing applications in the airplane Network Interface Control Design domain for several current programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, data, and user interface issues.
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement and test tool capabilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend new methods to enhance system performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate technical content is provided to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and share best practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with engineering design software development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with airplane network system design tools and their Interface Control Design data structures.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Software architecture or data architecture experience.
  • Working knowledge of the aircraft certification process.
  • Experience with software qualification processes (DO-178B/C, DO-330).
  • Ability to identify and create qualitative or quantitative measures of success and failure.
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk criteria and prevention strategies.
  • Experience working in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Understanding of Configuration management fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework Environment (SAFe).
