Job Details
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide expert-level security guidance across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of security frameworks and practices and a hands-on approach to collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant solution delivery.
Responsibilities:
Provide security expertise during architectural planning and decision-making processes.Work closely with developers to enforce security best practices.Triage and address vulnerabilities, including recommending and executing mitigations.Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and end-users to contribute broad security insight.Work alongside solution architects, cloud engineers, and security teams to ensure successful and secure project delivery.Contribute to and review technical documentation including security architecture and policies.Team Structure:
Join a DevOps team of 13 supporting a major project with over 60 team members.Work within a cross-functional, collaborative environment focused on knowledge-sharing and problem-solving.Team members are expected to be proactive, flexible, and open to learning new technologies and tasks.Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree with 8+ years of cybersecurity experienceORNo degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
Required Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO, SOC, OWASP, MITRE, Microsoft standards)Experience auditing solutions and environments for compliance with Security and GRC standardsRequired Soft Skills:
Comfortable in a research & development (R&D) settingWilling to take on administrative and support tasks as neededHighly collaborative and motivated to actively engage with teammatesDisqualifiers/Red Flags:
