if you have one LOCAL (NJ/NY) candidates
This candidate will be performing presentations on different LMS's and interacting with students and faculty daily, they do not want any senior level candidates with more than 5-7 years of heavy experience:
Location: Newark, NJ
Job Title: LMS Instructional Technology Specialist
Location (on site vs remote): On-Site (once ramped up, you'll be remote 2 days)
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract (potential extension/hire)
Interview Process: MS Teams -> On-Site

The LMS they use is Canvas (they have 3 instances of it). Preferably the candidate has supported Canvas but:
LMS are somewhat interchangeable so someone with Blackboard or another one is fine.
In addition to the LMS the team supports emerging technologies and digital workplace, supporting things like Zoom and other Ed tech tools.
Interpersonal skills are very important! The candidate will be interacting with faculty, administration, students, etc. there is a lot of consultation and back forth and with the administration. The candidate may be doing presentations if there are new tools being rolled out for example. This isn't a sit behind a phone and provide help desk type software support. Yes, that part of it but there is a lot more to this role.
