- Design and implement effective database solutions and data models to store and retrieve application data, including architecting data strategy (data model designs, database development standards, implementation, and data analytics) that is in line with client business processes.
- Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
- Analyze database objects performance for maintenance, including search algorithm for table scans, index performance, and performance tunings.
- Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support the development initiatives.
- Manage data architecture, design of technical architecture, development, testing, and implementation of the proposed solution.
- Provide consultation and collaborate with technology leaders, business partners, and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features, and partner with the Product Owners and the engineering teams to align the technical design and strategy with the product roadmap.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing software engineering practices for application development in Waterfall or Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe;
- Utilizing Rally Agile tool for application development;
- Designing and developing projects using Data framework to provide solutions for application development; and
- Utilizing database, including SQL Server, Oracle Database, stored procedures, database design, and performance improvement.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Using advanced SQL and PL/SQL to work with relational database Microsoft SQL Server to identify and resolve data quality issues;
- Leading onshore and offshore delivery teams using agile delivery methodology;
- Utilizing data mining and modeling tools, including erwin Data Modeler; and
- Conducting data modeling for transactional applications.
