How You Will Make An Impact:
  • Drive Net New Revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new client accounts for digital solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire strategic enterprise clients.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and outreach to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify their core digital challenges and propose tailored, strategic initiatives that align with their annual digital budgets.
  • Leverage and expand your network to generate high-quality leads and opportunities for digital transformation projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with a diverse team of digital experts (PIM/DAM specialists, e-commerce strategists, developers, analysts, and marketing professionals) to craft compelling proposals and solutions for prospective clients.
  • Present innovative digital strategies and solutions to C- and VP-level executives, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value.
  • Act as a consultative guide to new clients, helping them define their digital needs and championing their journey with the company.
  • Provide strategic input to senior management on market trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.

Are You A Business Development Rock Star?
  • A four-year college degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in a net new, client-facing, consultative business development role is essential.
  • Required experience includes working with a systems integrator, digital agency, or having client-side digital experience in a sales-driven capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of digital ecosystem principles and an ability to articulate their value.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with previous experience writing complex contracts, requirements documentation, or detailed statements of work for new business.
  • Demonstrated consultation skills: ability to synthesize complex information from diverse sources, quickly make sense of it, and chart a clear path forward for prospective clients.
  • Proven presentation skills: capable of leading the creation and delivery of compelling strategic presentations to C- and VP-level executives.
  • Exceptional business development skills: a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, qualifying them, and successfully closing deals.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events.
  • A quick-study with an appetite for continuous learning across new industries and processes.
  • Possess creative thinking, robust problem-solving skills, and sound business acumen.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of leading prospective clients through complex decision-making.
  • Highly detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in or with the manufacturing or distribution sector is a significant plus.
  • B2B e-commerce experience (either platform selling and integrating, or client-side operations) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) is highly preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus, particularly relating to scoping new work.
  • Additional software, technical, creative, or industry experience will help you excel.
