Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for network alerts/issues.
- Monitor and maintain network performance and reporting systems.
- Configure and install network devices: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers.
- Manage network upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
- Ensure network availability, reliability, and capacity planning.
- Adhere to change management and configuration standards.
- Document network systems, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call support rotations for non-business hours.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and manage security tools and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- 5 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in routing, switching, and network security.
- Effective communicator with experience working in global team environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- SD-WAN (Silver Peak preferred), Next-Gen Firewalls (Cisco Firepower), and Zscaler.
- Cisco Catalyst & Nexus 7K/9K, ACI, and Data Center networks.
- Load balancers (Citrix NetScaler), Cisco FTD, Aruba SD-WAN.
- Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Proficient in routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), VLAN, VTP, STP, QoS.
- Knowledge of Cisco ASA, IPS, WLC, ISE, and AnyConnect.
- Familiar with TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SNMP, FTP, SMTP, SSL, etc.
- Experience with AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1x, IPSec/SSL VPNs.
