Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Director of Infrastructure to lead the design, deployment, and management of a modern technology infrastructure. This role requires a confident leader who can take ownership from day one, mentor a high-performing team, and drive innovation-including the integration of AI-based solutions-within a complex organizational environment based just north of Dallas, TX in the Plano / Frisco, TX region. (MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN DALLAS / FORT WORTH REGION)

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Infrastructure Engineers.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure Strategy & Execution:
  • Design and deploy a modern, scalable, and secure technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on reliability, cybersecurity, and exceptional client service.

Project & Vendor Management:
  • Oversee multiple infrastructure projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and coordinate with internal business units.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies:
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business capabilities.

Governance & Compliance:
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions for a complex organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Financial & Asset Management:
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, procurement processes, and asset management.
  • Optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.


Requirements

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:
  • 10+ years in IT operations with a strong infrastructure focus.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or IT management role.
  • Proven experience developing IT strategies aligned with business objectives.

Technical Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of internal IT networks, servers, cloud services, and hardware inventory management.
  • Experience scaling IT infrastructure for growth and reliability.
  • Prior experience implementing cybersecurity solutions in complex environments.

Additional Skills:
  • Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Experience with IT budgeting, procurement, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ability to lead innovation initiatives, including AI-based solutions.
