Locations: Concord, CA / Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid 3 days (Tue - Thu) office in a week)
Type: Contract to hire (Only W2)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to bridge the gap between functional and technical teams. This role is critical in defining business and functional requirements, managing project progress, and ensuring seamless integration of systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce, security provisioning, cloud implementations, and user management.
Key Responsibilities:
Bridging Functional & Technical Requirements: Translate business needs into technical specifications while working closely with both stakeholders and IT teams.
Salesforce Expertise:
o Must have a Salesforce BSA Admin certification.
o Strong understanding of how Salesforce is built and implemented within an enterprise environment.
o Experience with provisioning, security configurations, and cloud implementations, with the ability to explain past projects in detail.
Business & System Analysis:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
o Work closely with technical teams to develop and evaluate solution alternatives.
o Conduct process mapping, engineering, and modeling to enhance system functionality.
Testing & Validation:
o Draft and execute validation tests to ensure system integrity.
o Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues as needed.
User Management & Security:
o Define and manage user personas and permission sets within Salesforce.
o Work with security and compliance teams to ensure proper access controls.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
o Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on Salesforce implementation and system integration.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security provisioning, and cloud solutions.
Ability to create and manage business and functional requirement documents.
Experience with process analysis, validation testing, and user management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Basic SQL knowledge is required.
Financial services experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
