Job Summary:

 

Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business problems, identify gaps, and develop technical solutions involving complex information systems with no supervision for Provider Payments that maintains various accounting information. This role involves managing requirement scope,determining appropriate methods on potential assignments, and serving as a bridge between information technology teams and the client through all project phases; provide day-to-day direction on State program activities.

Which functions of Provider Payments are most critical

Accounting and RA generation

How deep must the candidate’s MMIS knowledge be (Architecture Level, Claims Processing Workflows,

Provider Enrollment/Maintenance/Screening, etc.)?

Mid Level

Does the candidate need hands-on experience with Remittance Advice (835 X12) generation, or just

conceptual understanding?

Conceptual knowledge is fine

Oracle Financials expertise - modules AP, AR, GL, Vendor Management

Does the candidate need hands-on experience with OFIN configuration, or just functional knowledge?

Functional knowledge is fine since he /she will be BA

Conceptual knowledge of SQL is required

Is any experience with X12 EDI transactions required beyond 835? 

Only 835
