Job Details

Planet Technology is hiring a UKG Pro IT Application Analyst (HRIS) for our client in the Pittsburgh, PA area (so relocation would be required for anyone not local 3 days onsite/2 days remote). Direct Hire/Perm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations, projects, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Business and system support of relevant business application (UKG Pro) for their designated business area.
  • Business process analysis and design within UKG Pro.
  • Configuration of IT business applications to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate internally with all IT groups (DBA, Infrastructure, Integration, BI, and other Applications) to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of integrations and application environments.
  • Gather business requirements, create functional specifications, and create and manage test plans.
  • Work in conjunction with 3rd party support vendors/personnel.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to expand knowledge and capabilities in support of the business area.
  • Accountable to deliver on production support SLA s.
  • Responsible for issue resolution and root cause analysis. Assist in developing permanent solutions to persistent application or integration issues/problems.
  • Maintain Help Desk tickets using JIRA.
  • Effectively interact with the end users to understand the nature and significance of application issues, conveying solutions, and monitoring the execution and results of user-acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Adhere to Change Control policies and procedures.
  • While not expected to be the norm, off-hours support may be needed to address issues affecting business operations.
  • Collaborate with PMO on project priorities and project execution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience supporting an enterprise HRIS application (UKG experience preferred).
  • 10+ year of general IT application support experience.
  • Deep understanding of how an HRIS supports HR business processes.
  • Experience configuring an HRIS to meet business requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS data and integration architecture (API s, reporting, etc)
  • Experience with additional cloud application admin/management/support a plus (DocuSign CLM, OneStream)
