Contract: 1 Years

Work Location: North Main Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060 (100% Onsite)

1. Responsible for Product Value Stream Manufacturing Engineering Support

2. Planning Document Preparation and Review

3. Quality History Tag reviews and Material Disposition

Engineering Change Order (ECO) Approval

Engineering Drawing Reviews

Manufacturing Readiness Review

Customer Quote Reviews

Supplier Corrective Action Response Accountability

Customer Communication

Continuous Improvement/Lean

Attend schedule/production meetings

Participate in customer visits through both leadership and support roles

Support internal/external audits

Occasional travel

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field or a bachelor's degree with relative work experience to a Manufacturing role. An associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Personal computer experience with working knowledge of word processing, database, and enterprise information systems software as require. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to work within a team-oriented approach

Ability to work in a high-paced multi-tasking environment

Well organized with ability to set priorities and pursue them to their conclusion

Able to work with and maintain confidential information
