Job Title: Java AWS Tech Lead (DICOM)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas (Onsite 5 days a week)
Preference: Local candidates preferred
Experience: 12 15 years of overall IT experience

Understand application and data migration to AWS, including experience with Full Stack Java, AWS, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, Bitbucket (or similar), JUnit, Mockito, and IAM.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and development using platforms like Spring Cloud or Netflix OSS.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka.

Strong expertise in Full Stack Java development and testing frameworks.

Proven customer-facing skills to lead discussions with senior client stakeholders regarding best practices, execution planning, and risk mitigation.

Demonstrated strategic thinking on business, product, and technical challenges.

Highly technical and analytical with significant IT implementation experience.

Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant business systems.

Familiarity with SDLC and agile/iterative development methodologies.

Passion for learning and quick adoption of new technologies.

Experience with IT compliance and risk management (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.).

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.

Understand and align with existing architecture from the client team and AWS migration best practices.

Ensure the appropriate use of tech stack, frameworks, and tools during development.

Maintain code quality and ensure performance optimization.

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
-
Good to Have: Experience with Angular.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc)

Technical certifications in relevant technologies are desirable
