Work Plan Analyst (2 positions); targeted start January 12th through December 31st, 2026

IE/ Medicaid background a MUST/PLUS!!
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project for building, updating, and maintaining complex master schedules with interdependent tasks and multiple releases/waves.
Exceptional attention to detail for analyzing project schedules, identifying inconsistencies, dependencies, and potential risks.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate, gather information, and synthesize status and updates from 15+ workstream leads.
Ability to translate project updates and technical details into clear visuals or summary reports for executive audiences.
Strong organizational skills to track status across multiple deadlines, releases, and stakeholder commitments.
Proactive communicator keeps project leads and stakeholders informed and escalates risks or issues in a timely manner.
Self-directed, able to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving accountability for timely delivery.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience supporting Medicaid or other health and human services transformation projects.
Knowledge of project management best practices (e.g., PMP or related certification, or demonstrated experience operating under a Project Management Plan).
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Power BI, or similar for process mapping and dashboard reporting.
Ability to anticipate potential schedule risks flagging bottlenecks, resource gaps, or critical path issues before they impact deliverables.
Comfort with facilitating schedule workshops or check-in meetings with client counterparts to explain schedule impacts and changes.
Agility at absorbing new information quickly and adapting to evolving project requirements.
Experience with multi-wave or phased project delivery models, including tracking dependencies, go-live readiness, and release management.
Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain the integrated master schedule in Microsoft Project.
Gather, validate, and incorporate schedule inputs from 15+ workstream leads, proactively tracking status, dependencies, and key deliverables.
Monitor progress against deadlines, flag schedule variances, and escalate risks or potential delays to project leadership.
Generate and present regular schedule reports, summaries, and visualizations.
Conduct schedule reviews and facilitate meetings with workstream leads to validate timelines and assess impacts of scope changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, align on critical path activities, and enable timely decisions.
Support the adoption and enforcement of project management standards, templates, and established processes.
Maintain clear and consistent written communication to ensure project team members and stakeholders are informed of key schedule updates, risks, and required actions.
