Job Details

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite DBA experience with 12.1 and 12.2 on Windows Server.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c with RMAN, Data Guard, and tuning.

  • Experience with ADOP (Online Patching), WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware in EBS 12.2.

  • Experience in performing cloning, patching, backup, and recovery across EBS environments.

  • Experience with AutoConfig, Rapid Clone, and Oracle Applications DBA utilities.

  • Experience in evaluating and remediating custom code for upgrade compatibility.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of the Oracle EBS upgrade from version 12.1 to 12.2.

  • Develop upgrade strategies including timelines, resource needs, and rollback plans.

  • Conduct pre-upgrade system assessments and impact analysis on custom components.

  • Prepare and clone environments for testing, development, and user acceptance.

  • Execute upgrade steps following Oracle's 12.2 roadmap, including ADOP and patching.

  • Validate system stability, performance, and functionality after the upgrade.

  • Document upgrade procedures and provide training to internal technical teams
