Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 12 16 years of experience. The Senior Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative SAP PP solutions that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SAP PP solutions to meet business requirements and improve production process efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SAP PP processes and configurations.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the development team during implementation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP PP technologies and trends.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team understanding of SAP PP tools and methodologies.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Optimize production planning models and reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide technical recommendations for system upgrades and new technology adoption.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP configuration for Production Process & Operations
• Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementation experiences
• Expertise in configuring and managing functionality including Process Orders, Order Settlements, Contracts/Agreements, Material Costing, BOMs, and Production Resources/Recipes
• Strong understanding of material configuration structure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Solid understanding of integration points between SAP PP and other modules like FI, MM, and Costing
• Ability to define complex business requirements and translate them into SAP configuration or development solutions
• Good understanding of material and batch classification structure
• Ability to collaborate with process experts to develop and document business requirements
• Experience writing functional design specifications for custom development in SAP PP
• SAP BW experience is a plus but not required
• Extensive knowledge in system configuration to meet business requirements
• Ability to analyze, replicate, and resolve issues
• Experience conducting workshops to identify technical gaps and design solutions
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end processes including inventory management, batch management, and warehouse setup
• Familiarity with integration of SAP processes with third-party applications
• Experience with reporting tools and KPI development
• Ability to execute and monitor recurring monthly process activities and communicate status to stakeholders
• Maintain process documentation and track functionality changes
• Develop functional design specifications for custom development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and process issues
• Ability to define and document business requirements, prioritize tasks, and establish target dates
