RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a C++ Developer who will help to grow their agile development culture through use of excellent engineering skills and a deep knowledge of industry standard methodologies. The C++ Developer will lead with strong engineering standard methodologies when it comes design patterns, bringing to bear CI/CD pipelines, test automation and application performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or above in Computer Science or related field
* 10+ years of professional C++ Development experience with at least 3+ of those on UNIX systems
* Able to design, develop and deploy applications with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability
* Deep knowledge of C++ with the latest standards, UNIX OS internals, CPU architecture, and networking hardware and protocols
* Working knowledge of Golang and kdb+/q will be added advantage
* Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading business, previous experience in Smart Order Router, Market Data or Order Management Systems development is desirable, but not required
* Able to design, develop and maintain test cases for applications
* Ability to investigate, isolate, and tackle technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies
* Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation
* Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core
* Superb communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
